i would love to give you my satellite to build a real monster. but i guess, hungary is not this cheap as 40 years ago...

If you want to spend your holiday at the Balaton see with beutiful girls, yes this will be cheap here for you. But if you want a professional built car with a new 540 alu Hemi converted to an upgraded C6 Z06 drivetrain.. well, I think this things has their price anywhere in the galaxy, we shouldn't be in Hungary.
On a german Mustang forum came up this Hungary/cheapness question. I has answered the follows:

Die Anerkennung erfreut uns sehr, wir sind nämlich keine Geschäftsleute, sondern eine kleine Gruppe, die Fans dieser Autos und wir können diese denen zeigen, die wissen und verstehen, was sie sehen. Leider kann eine Restaurierung in der Qualität und in dem Umfang nicht billiger ausfallen, weil die Grundfahrzeuge und die eingeführten Bauteile, wie auch die angewandten Materialien so viel kosten.

Unser Werklohn ist weniger oder ist dasselbe, wie das einer Restaurierung in einer durchschnittlichen oder schwächen Qualität überall in Europa. Wir sind billiger als die amerikanischen Preise, sogar mit den Zolltarifen und unsere Leistungsqualität liegt in einer ganz anderen Galaxis. Diese Autos sind nicht aus Bondo sondern sind die Ergebnisse einer Karosseriearbeit von mehreren Monaten, durch die wir alle Herstellungsfehler und Ungenauigkeit beseitigen. Das Polieren wird ebenfalls in mehreren Monaten durchgeführt um diese Qualität zu erzielen und dafür haben wir schon an mehreren Ausstellungen enorme Gratulationen von Knud Tiroch erhalten, der stundenlang dieses studierte und einen Film über unsere Autos machte.

Wir sind also kein Profitorientiertes Unternehmen, welches seine Produkte auf der laufenden Bahn erstellt, sondern eine kleine Firma mit 11 begeisterten Mitarbeitern, die alle in ihrem Fachbereich Profis sind. Sogar Photos und Videoaufnahmen machen wir selber."

this remark should not be insulting! my parents live more than 12 years in abaszalok/hungary and i know about the reality there and about crowds of german tourists, who think, that everything in hungary costs nearly nothing.

it should only be a little joke. nobody who looks at your work would ever have the idea, that anything there would be "low-budget".

stolzer preis??? das ist für einen solchen umbau ganz normal...

habe mit mehreren buildern in usa kontakt...was ähnliches bezahlst du in usa locker zwischen 250-300'000$ ...ist ganz normal bei sochen projekten.

steve...ganz geile projekte habt ihr da...vorallem der cuda!!!
