This is my father giving the 1971 Dodge Dart I bought for $250 the once over, in front of Building 7. His body language seems to be expressing his opinion, but that may be an accident. The Community Gardens were in good shape that early fall day (the picture is marked September 30 -- I started my professional career the next day) in 1984, and a couple of weeping willows were still holding up. Mom is looking through the passenger window. Two senior citizens are near the lobby entrance. I don't know who they are, but they look typical.

It wasn't a bad car. It was a lot of fun, and like most Slant 6-equipped cars was very reliable. It needed weight in the rear for the snow. Before I bought the Firebird I put clearance lights on the roof.

This 1960 Dodge Dart Seneca became my first car. When my Dad bought his 64 Newport, they did not offer him what he thought the tires on the Seneca were worth, so he kept it for a 2nd car. When he bought a 62 Dodge, he retired this car and gave it to me (7 years old at the time) and brought it to the old family farmhouse that belonged to my Uncle. It was put on blocks and when we would visit I would beg to be taken over to the old house so I could “drive” my car. It was also the first car I did drive also.

War irgendwann um 1990 rum mal auf einem US Car Treffen in München Riem.

Hier mal eines von einem Neuwagen aus 1970:

...ein Y13-Code (Dealer Demonstrator), in L.A. gebaut und nur bis nach Oregon gekommen. Die Frachtkosten waren aber eben so hoch als wenn er aus Detroit gekommen wäre )) . BTW: Tatsächlich mußte ein Käufer der seinen in L.A. gebauten MOPAR auch in L.A. kaufte, also direkt um die Ecke, immer die gleichen Frachtkosten berappen als wenn der Karren aus dem Osten angeliefert worden wäre, tausende Meilen entfernt...so ein Beschiss ))

Doch, oben beim Color Code. Unten wurden nur die High Impact Colors aufgeführt, da diese aufpreispflichtig waren. FE5 ist aber kein High Impact.
